TIANNE FITZMAURICE

Math Teacher

 

Tianne was born and raised in Philadelphia and has always loved working with kids. Teaching has been a dream of hers from a young age, and she finds joy in helping students discover new ways to learn and grow. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minors in American Sign Language and Urban Education. She is now pursuing her Master of Social Work at Widener University, with hopes of one day opening a private practice to support children from marginalized communities.

Math has always been a passion for Tianne, especially the challenge of treating problems like puzzles—knowing there’s often more than one way to find the right answer. She loves bringing that perspective to her students and showing them that math can be both approachable and rewarding.

Outside of the classroom, Tianne enjoys staying active and creative. In her free time, she can be found working out, spending time with friends and family, baking sweet treats, or exploring her artistic side through pottery. She is excited to bring her energy, empathy, and enthusiasm to the Golden Key Enrichment team.
