KELECHI ONUIGBO
Math Teacher
A native of Baltimore, MD, Kelechi Onuigbo has always had a strong aptitude for numbers—a talent that has shaped her academic and professional journey. Kelechi holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Villanova University with a minor in French and Francophone Studies. As a former Division 1 athlete on the women’s rowing team, Kelechi understands the dedication and resilience it takes to achieve goals—qualities she now brings to her students.

Kelechi is not new to teaching: she has spent almost a full academic year in France as an English language assistant, where she honed both her teaching skills and her fluency in French. In addition, over the course of her summers during high school and college, Kelechi has also led and engaged groups of children in daily camp activities as a camp counselor lead at her local YMCA with a goal of creating a nurturing environment that fostered positive social interactions between campers.

With her background in finance, education, and athletics, Kelechi joined the Golden Key team in 2024 to help students build confidence in math. In addition to teaching, she is a certified EMT and an avid gym-goer, staying active and engaged in the community. Known for her humor, Kelechi has performed improv and stand-up comedy, even serving as treasurer for her college comedy groups.
