ISSAAM MUSSANI
Chess coach and assistant
A current senior at Conestoga High School, Issaam has loved math and chess for as long as he can remember. At Conestoga, he is co-captain of the math competition team (alongside close friend and assistant Ari Shpilman) and robotics team 6121C, and co-president of the computer science and engineering clubs. Deeply interested in math, computer science, and engineering, he hopes to continue learning as he transitions from Conestoga into college.

Outside of Conestoga, Issaam has been a devoted teacher. Spending his summers in Pakistan, Issaam teaches math and English at the SOS Children's Village, the largest orphanage in Lahore, Pakistan, and raises money to help improve Pakistani education for the underprivileged. Additionally, Issaam mentors a middle school robotics team and tutors math to children across his neighborhood. Teaching isn't just his hobby; it's his passion.

In his free time, Issaam loves to play both tennis and chess, spending hours on the court and even more over the board. When he isn't busy with his hobbies, you can find him playing board games with his siblings or relaxing with friends. As a math and chess teacher at Golden Key Enrichment, he hopes to turn his joy for teaching into a love for learning among his students.
