ELENA OREKHOVA

Math Teacher

 

Elena Orekhova was born and educated in Belarus, where she received her BA in Teaching and Pedagogy and MA in Linguistics. She speaks five languages - Russian, Belаrusian, English, French and German. 

 

For over 15 years, Elena worked as a corporate trainer in Learning and Development for transnational IT companies. After becoming a mom of three, she became involved in extracurricular education for kids and eventually joined the team of Kids Academy, the popular e-learning platform for kids aged 2 to 10. She took part in designing and developing the content for the platform and its mobile apps, such as Talented and Gifted and Learn Like Nastya. In particular, she worked on the logic and early math section for the K-2 levels. 

 

At present, Elena works as an assistant teacher and grade mentor for Main Line Classical Academy in Bryn Mawr, PA. Her family are also involved in teaching kids: her husband Dmitry, a data solution architect, is the author of a few training courses for kids and educators in Computer Science. Elena’s older son Egor is an assistant with Golden Key Enrichment. 

 

Elena and her family currently live in Chesterbrook, PA.  Her favorite things to do are going to art museums, watching a good movie, and exploring new trails and paths of the beautiful Pennsylvania wilderness. We are thrilled to have Elena join us at Golden Key Enrichment in 2023 as an elementary Math teacher.
