Chess & Math Teacher

A graduate of Temple University’s Fox School of Business, Christy received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting as an Honors student. His academic background has given him a strong foundation in mathematics, analytical thinking, and problem-solving, while his passion for chess has allowed him to develop these skills in a fun and engaging way.

During his time at Temple, Christy was a member of the Temple Honors Program and Fox Honors, where he developed a strong appreciation for learning, critical thinking, and breaking down complex concepts into simpler, easy-to-understand ideas. He enjoys working with students and creating an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.

As a Chess and Math Teacher at Golden Key Enrichment, Christy hopes to inspire curiosity and confidence in young learners. Through chess, he encourages students to develop strategic thinking, concentration, patience, and decision-making skills. In mathematics, he focuses on helping students understand concepts through clear explanations and practical problem-solving.

Outside of teaching, Christy enjoys playing and following soccer, spending time with friends and family, and continuing to develop his own skills and interests. He is excited to be part of the Golden Key Enrichment team and looks forward to helping students discover that learning can be both challenging and enjoyable.
