EGOR OREKHOV

Robotics Teacher

​

Egor was born in Belarus and developed a keen interest in mathematics from an early age, actively participating in local math competitions throughout his childhood. His enthusiasm in math and interest in computer science led to delving into robotics, which culminated in the qualification for the World Robotics Olympiad at the age 12 years. This early success sparked a broader interest in computer science and Egor became actively involved in competitive programming contests.  By 2024, he advanced to the Platinum Division of the USA Computational Olympiad and earned an Honorable Mention in the M3 Math Modeling contest. In June 2024, Egor graduated from Conestoga High School, where he was acknowledged as a member of the National Honor Society and Conestoga All School scholar.

Egor joined Golden Key Enrichment as a volunteer for the Math Festival in 2022. Since then he has been working with us as an assistant in math and robotics classes, helped and led activities at our festivals and camps. Recently, Egor gained hands-on teaching experience through an internship at Main Line Classical Academy, broadening his perspectives on teaching and learning while assisting in Robotics, Math, and Science classes. He is excited to help build up the Robotics program at Golden Key!
